Reunion Bonfires & Star-Stomping
We will have multiple site bonfire experience this year. The first will be on Friday, 7/31 starting at 7:00pm, and the second will be on Saturday, 8/1 starting at 7:00pm. This year we will have our bonfires at the Q10 site at Barview Campground to accommodate access concerns for older family members. You are welcome to use the fire to cook or roast dinner and smores. Please bring a chair. Bonfires will end at 10:00pm as that is when the campsite quiet hours begin.
Because pretty much all beach access, including Barview, now requires a paid pass, please come prepared. There are pay stations that take both cash and card.
Additionally, since parking may be limited in Barview, we will arrange “shuttles” to take folks from the Garibaldi Marina to Barview and back to their vehicles at the end of the evening. Please contact millsfamilyreuinionor@gmail.com at least 24 hours prior to the event to arrange this transportation.
At 10:00pm, those interested in going “star-stomping” can caravan to Nedonna beach. It is about a 20 minute drive. Bring a flashlight and your night vision. The beach closes at 11:00pm, so we will be there for about 1/2 an hour.
